Project Background and Conditions:
    The water-reducing additives produced by this company are suitable for cast-in-place and prefabricated concretes, concretes with pre-stressed reinforcement steel bars, concretes mixed with coal ash powders, and also fit the applications of ordinary silicate cements, scoria silicate cements, volcano ash silicate cements etc. five kinds of all-purpose cements. Mixing with the concretes and cements can enhance application effect of water-reducing. In the winter season the applications of this product can increase the strength of the concretes, shorten the construction time of the projects, upgrade the construction quality and save the cement amount by 20%, so that the engineering cost can be reduced obviously. The product can also play a role in the pollution control because it improves the environmental pollution in the urban construction. Therefore its market prospect is very broad.
Plan of Implementation: The project plans to build a production facility that can produce 50,000 tons water-reducing additives annually.
Financial Evaluation: The total investment of the project amounts to RMB 93 million, of which RMB 83 million are fixed assets . The investment will be paid off within 3 years.
Co-operation Form: Joint Venture, that the foreign counterpart inputs RMB 40 million in cashes to the project is desired.
Preferential Conditions Contributed by Chinese Partner: The Chinese party will contribute its existing factory, workshops and other facilities as well as related service, also responsible for submitting the project to the relevant authorities for approval.
Status of Chinese Counterpart: Zhejiang Wulong Chemical Co., Ltd. with a total asset of RMB 110 million is a specialized manufacturer of compound water-reducing additives applied in concretes. As a leading enterprise acknowledged by the Province, the company now owns production equipment that can annually produce 50,000 tons water-reducing additives with 14 series. This project is listed as state important development one.
