Project Background and Conditions:
    The technology that optimizes and upgrades the servers by parallel computing with applications in numerical weather forecast is at the competitive edge in the domestic market in terms of its technical level and industrialized level due to its originality, high ratio with performance and price and its usableness. It has been reported by Xinhua New Agency, People¡¯s Daily, Science and Technology Daily, Shanghai Science and Technology Newspaper and China Weather Forecast Newspaper. The company received the first prize for science and technology innovation from Huzhou municipality in 2002 and high opinions from the leaders in the State Weather Bureau.
Project Progress: The company owns the independent intellectual property for this technology.
Plan of Implementation: The project plans to invest USD 6 million to expand the existing scale.

Status of Chinese Partner: Jiangnan Aolijin High Performance Computer Technology Co., Ltd. is a privately owned high technology enterprise that experiences a rapid growth in recent years. It undertakes the tasks to build Zhejaing Provincial High Performance Parallel Computing Application Technology Research Center, and acts as a key player in the major R&D projects sponsored by the State Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of IT Industry and Zhejiang province. Now there are 3 chief scientists and 18 technical specialists (3 Ph.D., 3 M. Sc. And 3 senior engineers) working with the company.
