Industry: Commerce Project Background and Conditions: With its tremendous economic growth, hangzhou has risen in the top hundred counties with strongest comprehensive strengths in China. But the county doesn¡¯t have any large supermarket with an operating area of more than 5,000 m2. This project will be developed in the center of the county town and the location is only 30 kilometers away from hangzhou and extremely easy access. Project Progress: The project has started its construction since September 2003 and expects to be completed by March 2005. Plan of Implementation: The project includes the development of market complex, lease and ordinary housing, with a total construction area of 100,000 m2 and a total cost of RMB 400 million. Co-operation Form: Transfer and lease-out of the estates. Preferential Conditions Contributed by Chinese Partner: Now there are 7,000 m2 of building available for transfer or lease, which is suitable for the business of retails and restaurants. Status of Chinese Partner: hangzhou County Urban Construction Development Corporation with a registered asset of RMB 200 million is engaged in market development, lease, management service and real estate development.
