Project Background and Conditions:
The project site is at the eastern new area of Huzhou City. Huzhou is located at the northern part of hangzhou-Jiaxing-Huzhou Plain, 150 km away from Shanghai on the east and 90 km away from Hanghzou. Huzhou neighbors Nanjing on the west and on the north faces Suzhou and Wuxi with Taihu lake apart. So Huzhou is the meeting place of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui three provinces. The location advantages are unique. The overall plan for Huzhou urban construction requires to build it into a garden city. The eastern area will become a major scenic zone of Huzhou City in the plan. Therefore, the eastern area is an important location to build a state garden city and forge eco city and it is also an important part for developing the tourism sector in Huzhou.
Project Progress: A land with an area of 6.3 km2 including water area 149 hectares has been planned. The main business scope has been determined and now the preliminary planning and conceptual design for the scenic spot are under the way.
Plan of Implementation: The total investment amounts 250 million US dollars. By the theme of the central city park, the scenic spot will be featured with Xishan lake wetland and include the city entertainment tour programs. Therefore, this project is a city tour center integrating eco residence and public service facilities in the city.
