Project Background and Conditions:
    He project will focus on the development of the scenic spots ¨C famous temple in the north of Zhejiang the Daochang Mountain Monastery, one of four famous spots in the south of Yangtze River the ancient plum blossom garden and the key cultural relic unit under the state protection the ruins of ancient Lower Gu City etc, with a planned area of 30 km2. The construction of the project will include:
1.Expansion of the Longlife Temple in Daochang Mountain;
2.Development of Daochang Mountain forest park;
3.Further development of Hu Yuan¡¯s Mausoleum and the ruins of ancient Lower Gu City;
4.Further development and improvement of the ancient plum blossom garden and Ancient Plum Blossom Manor;
5.The Construction of relevant infrastructure facilities covering 2 km2, includes the recreational city, high standard conference and holiday center. All of the items in the project may be developed independently or together in one project.
Plan of Implementation: The gross investment of the project is USD 80 million.
Financial Evaluation: After the project puts into operation the sales income of USD 30 million can be achieved, with an annual profit of USD 8 million. The pay-off period is 10 years.
Co-operation Form: Foreign Wholly Owned
Collaboration to Be Sought from Foreign Partner: The cash input from the foreign partner is sought.
Status of Chinese Partner: The Daochang Town, Wuxing District of Huzhou Municipality is located at the south of Huzhou City, covering an area of 100 km2 with a population of 30,000. The scenery spots in the southern suburb of Huzhou City are endowed with beautiful mountains and rich natural resources. The location is easily accessible and can be reached by land and water transportation. There are many tourist attractions in the south suburb tourist zone such as the ruins of ancient lower Gu city under state protection, Duobao pagoda on the top of Daochang mountain, Longlife temple and renowned ancient plum blossom garden etc. All of the scenic spots are linked with six meter wide highway and easy access. The location of the project is 90 kilometers away from hangzhou and 150 kilometers away from Shanghai and 250 kilometers away from Nanjing.
