Project Background and Conditions:
    Huzhou Taihu Lake Tourist Zone demand such a project, where other infrastructure facilities have been complete.
Project Progress: Used to plan for an area of 8 km2, now Taihu Lake Tourist Zone has been planed for about 20 km2, in which about 4 km2 area has already been developed and the basic conditions such as the water and power supply have been furnished.
Plan of Implementation: The hotel to be built is planned to 200 ¨C 400 guest beds, a luxury hotel with a total cost of RMB 300 ¨C 500 million.
Financial Evaluation: After the project is completed, the annual turnover of the hotel will achieve RMB 160 million with an annual profit of RMB 46 million.
Co-operation Form: Foreign Wholly Owned, Joint Venture or Cooperative
Collaboration to Be Sought from Foreign Partner: We are looking for the travel companies or other investors at home and abroad to input capitals or market shares.
Preferential Conditions Contributed by Chinese Partner: The cooperation conditions are negotiable.
Status of Chinese Partner: As one of the provincial level tourist zones, Huzhou Taihu Lake Tourist Zone is the only one that reposes the lakeside of the Taihu Lake and develops its rich tourist resources in Zhejiang province. The location is 150 kilometers away from Shanghai on the east, 86 kilometers away from Hanghzou on the south and face Wuxi and Suzhou on the other side of Taihu Lake with 100 kilometers and 90 kilometers apart respectively, and on the northwest 220 kilometers away from Nanjing. Therefore, the zone is at the center of Yangtze River Delta and Shanghai Economic Circle. Near the mountains and by the water, the tourist zone enjoys an ecological environment of excellent. The conditions of climate and water quality are perfect. Easy access, a boulevard with 38 meters wide and 8 kilometers in length links the resort with the city of Huzhou. At this time the annual tourist volume is about 600,000. In 2001 the resort was honored the title of State AAA Travel Resort by the State Bureau of Tourism. The grade of AAAA Travel Resort for the zone is on the way for appraisal.
