This reservoir cumulated rain area can reach 235 sq. km2, average flux 1.55 billion cubic meters for ever years. Its total deposition capability is 106.26million cubic meters; 52.54 million depositions are for defending flood.
There are key projects as big dams, water discharge construction, taking water construction, empty hole and etc. This project is the one that based on the aim of defending flood and combined the large irrigation works of supplying water. It is listed in the carrying out scheme < suggestions about strengthen the construction of defending flood around Taihu drainage area during 2001-2010> which authorized by State Congress. Meanwhile, it is also approved to be listed as key project in <Hangzhou-Jiaxing-Huzhou area flood defending programming> and one of the construction items of <National huge reservoir constructions programming in the tenth five-year national plan>. Total investment capital of the project is 1.04125 billion, and supplying water area will cover urban areas and surrounding 7 towns and population of 386 thousand people. It will be expected to complete in 2020. The water supplying volume can reach 59.50 million cubic meters per year and 20000 tons per day. The reservoir guarantee supplying water rate can be 95%. |
